- Used for intermediate restorations
- Acts as a base for non-resin restorations
- Excellent abrasion resistance for durable sealings
- One-year duration
IRM reinforced zinc-oxide eugenol composition is formulated for intermediate restorations and as a base under nonresin restorations, such as amalgams, inlays, and onlays. The eugenol component in the polymer-reinforced ZOE acts like a thermal insulator and sedative on hypersensitive tooth pulp.
IRM is abrasion-resistant and has good sealing properties. Restorations can last up to one year.
